I'm back for a while and stopped in to listen to the comedians. They were funny, but it was difficult for me to follow for to long. Maybe, I'll stick to England when I go. They have so many dialects, too, though.
Hi Amber, Thanks for commenting I can understand why you would have difficulty in understanding them - to be honest I find it hard sometimes...
They were really popular years ago and Scots the world over look back on these entertainers as being typical of comics of a bygone age... I doubt whether the young folk of today would understand them.
I listen to them now and think of the olden much more innocent times and remember them with much older eyes and they bring back memories of these times... They were loved many years ago by generations of folk.
